CONNECTICUT

2) What is the definition of a public works or related projects?

A.) Each contract for the construction, remodeling, refinishing, refurbishing, rehabilitation, alteration or repair of any public works project by the state or any of its agents, or by any political subdivision of the state or any of its agents...
Sec. 31-53.

B.) Each of the above practices are subject to the prevailing wage act. Sec. 31-53.

*Beyond this explanation, there is no definition of public works relating to prevailing wage laws.
