A contractor that sued the Joplin School District over bills for clearing tornado debris has been fined $2,500 for violations of the state’s prevailing wage law.
Urban Metropolitan Development LLC pleaded guilty Thursday in Jasper County Circuit Court to five violations of the prevailing wage law in a plea agreement with the Missouri attorney general’s office, and was fined $500 on each violation.
